Welcome to My Website
Hi, I’m Tim Ward, a regular twenty-six year old sort of guy, whose life was changed in a heartbeat last year on November 13th 2008.
I was involved in a serious motor vehicle accident, which didn’t quite cost me my life, but lost me the best part of my body.
I am now a C5 ‘complete’ tetraplegic and have only my shoulders and biceps to play with.
Pre-accident my life was carefree and full of the things which I have always enjoyed – travel and namely my sport. I played football and cricket for as long as I can remember and hit a pretty decent golf ball. The two years leading up to my accident I had spent working and traveling up and down the east coast of Australia, life was good.
I have now left the Burwood spinal unit and will have to learn to live ‘A Different Life’. I am currently waiting untill I can move into a modified Housing New Zealand house. It will need ramps for access, wider doorways and modified wet room for showering.
The accident has not only changed life for me, but also for my family and you can read my story by clicking onto the link in the sidebar, where you can freely access the eBook: ‘A Different Life’.

Me Now
If you would like to make a donation to help me follow my dreams: spinal research, a home of my own, an accessible vehicle, travel etc. I thank you sincerely.
I hope that my story might help others to make safe choices and live healthy lives.
